MOSTLY JAZZ AND BLUES	Hi There!      Welcome to my Website.  I am a Pianist and Piano teacher living in East Falmouth on the Island of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. I was born in Newton, Massachusetts and graduated from Weston High School in Mass.  My first piano teacher was Dave Frank.  You may have heard of him.  After completing my studies with him he went on to become a keyboard player for Phil Collins, Chaka Kahn, had his own MTv level band called "The System"  and was the producer songwriter behind Christina Aguilera career success. My Teaching Studio is located on Central Ave close to Kenyons Market. One and a half miles from Menahant Beach in East Falmouth Ma.     I continued my music studies at University of Massachusetts at Amherst in the late 70's where the Jazz dept as a subdivision of the African American Studies dept was of unparalleled quality.  There I studied with the historical legends Max Roach, Archie Shepp, Billy Taylor and Roland Wiggins.. Men who were not only great musicians but are actually credited in many books as having invented many forms of the music we call "Jazz".   From there I went on to study at and am an alumnus of the world renowned "Berklee College of Music" in Boston, Ma.  There I was a Piano and Performance and Composition Major.    I also have completed extensive private piano study with another different David Frank than mentioned above.  This one equally respected. Dave is a former Berklee Professor of Piano and author of books for Hal Leonard.   He also has the unique distinction of being a protege of both the late great pianist and aclaimed teachers Lennie Tristano and Charlie Banacos.   David is a world touring pianist who performs regularly in the top clubs in NYC such as "The Iridium" for example.  He owns and operantes the Dave Frank School of Jazz in Manhattan.
